How do you take Gluco4 glucose tablets?
Glucose tablets are chewable. Simply chew and swallow.
My blood sugar is below 70mg/dL, how many Gluco4 glucose tablets should I take?
The ADA recommends that a person take 15g of carbohydrates if there is a lowering in blood sugar. Since Gluco4 glucose tablets each contain 4 grams of carbohydrates it is recommended that you take 3-4 tablets. This amount should be adjusted according to your age and body weight. Please consult with your healthcare team to determine the best serving size for you. If your blood sugar level is 50mg/dL or less, increase the dose to 20g. If after 15 minutes, the levels don't balance out, repeat the process.
How long before Gluco4 glucose tablets begin to work?
If you take the recommended 4 tablets it usually takes about 15 minutes; however your age and body weight will determine how fast they begin to work. Please note that your symptoms will not immediately disappear. Be sure to test your blood sugar after 15 minutes. If your blood sugar levels don’t balance out then repeat the dosage and re-check after 15 minutes.
Do Gluco4 glucose tablets contain gluten, fat, sodium or caffeine?
